Beginners Start Your Account Here - Top Trading Platforms 2020

So in order to begin day trading like I do, you have to create an account on a trading platform. A trading platform is a website that allows you to execute your buy/sell orders and manage your portfolio. However, nearly all trading platforms aren't "technically
available in the U.S., so you have to download a VPN (see bottom of page). There are many platforms to choose from and it is sometimes difficult to decide which one is best for you. There are a lot of factors to take into consideration such as fees and features that the platform offers. Here are a couple platforms that are great to start out with:

Coinbase/Coinbase Pro

Coinbase/Coinbase Pro is a great beginner platform to start out on. One thing that can be a little confusing is that there is a Coinbase Pro as well. I myself have both a Coinbase and a Coinbase Pro account. I started out on Coinbase and realized there was a way better version that offered more features and made the switch to Coinbase Pro. However, I do not use Coinbase Pro anymore (I switched to Bybit, which I'll talk about in a sec.) but I use Coinbase to hold my funds when I do not want any of my money in bitcoin. The fees are a little ridiculous but it's hard to find a trading platform that doesn't overcharge. Coinbase is a great starter platform and you can learn more about it on this article:

Bybit

Bybit is a very popular platform and my platform of choice. The fees are ok and they allow you to use limit, market, and conditional orders which come in handy when you want to make sure your order is filled at a specific price. To learn more about Bybit, click this article:

Binance

Binance is another trading platform I have tried out and enjoyed. A main component that they provide that is helpful for beginners is that they allow you to exchange between advanced and basic modes, unlike Coinbase(Pro) where you have to make an entirely new account. Another perk about Binance is the fees are pretty low when considering other trading platforms. If you want to learn more about Binance, click here:

VPN:

A VPN is a "A virtual private network extends a private network across a public network, and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network." You have to have one in order to trade and like trading platforms, there are hundreds. A reliable VPN that I can recommend is NordVPN (link below). You just download it to your laptop/computer and connect to a country (I use Norway, works perfect) and there you go!
